The 4CX3500A is a metal-ceramic, forced air-cooled coaxial tetrode with a direct-heating thoriated tungsten cathode and a squirrel cage-shaped grid structure. At an operating frequency of 220MHz, the anode dissipation power is 3500W. Dissipation power for grid No.1 and No.2 is 50w and 165w respectively. The tube is mainly used in FM broadcasting and RF linear power amplifier and VHF TV linear power amplifier.
