The YU-108 (3CX4500F3) is a forced air-cooled medium-power metal-ceramic-sealed triode with a thoriated-tungsten cathode. When operated at a frequency of 75MHz, the anode dissipation power is 6kW and 300W for grid. It is mainly used as an oscillator in industrial heating equipment.
In industrial applications, the filament is connected with soft lead, and the grid is connected to equipment via a solid flange.
