The 3CX20000H3 is a metal ceramic, forced air-cooled triode with a thoriated tungsten carbide cathode. It has a medium amplification factor. The anode power dissipation is 20kW when working at 90MHz. It’s mainly used in industrial oscillators in the low frequency to lower very high frequency (VHF) range, but also in modulators or linear amplifiers of radio frequency modulation stages in AM broadcasting.
