The 3CX15000A7 is a metal-ceramic sealed, forced air cooled triode with a thoriated tungsten carbide cathode and a high amplification factor. The operating frequency is 110MHz, the anode dissipation power is 15kW and grid dissipation 500w. It’s mainly used for zero-bias voltage Class B RF amplifiers or Class C amplifiers, and also grid-grounded FM amplifiers. When the grid is grounded, the tube can obtain a power gain of 20 times.
