The 3CX10000A7 is a metal ceramic, forced air cooled triode with a thoriated tungsten carbide cathode. The operating frequency is 160MHz, the anode and grid dissipation powers are 10kw and 500w. It is mainly used in audio or radio frequency equipment as a zero grid bias class B amplifier. Since the bias power supply is eliminated, the tube works under zero grid bias, which simplifies the circuit. When the grid is grounded, the tube can obtain a gain of 20 times.
